About me.

Dan Haines | Graphic Designer

My name is Dan. I’m a traditionally trained and seasoned graphic designer with 30 years professional experience in the creative industry, working with both print and digital.

  • I studied Graphic Design & Visual Communication at South East Essex College of Arts, and graduated around the same time Apple released their first PowerMac.

  • I started my career in 1996 as a junior designer in the print industry. I have since held Senior Designer and Creative Director positions at a number of agencies across Essex and London. In 2008 I began freelancing full-time as The Loft Creative Consultancy.

  • I’m fascinated and influenced by mid-century arts, particularly design, architecture, fashion, music and the surrounding subcultures. I am also an antique motorcycle enthusiast.
